They are crazy... I had never seen them before other than in pictures... they are really nice fish.

Nice fish.
The thing to remember about danios is that they are the equivalent to adding hyperactive children to your fish tank.
As Sammigold has done, you always need to get a school of them to keep them from annoying the other tank occupants.
You can get Gold/albino giant danios and redfin zebra danios as well. The redfin zebras look great, specially against a dark background.

can you get long fin red fin danios ? (ha, thats a mouthful!)
They are going very well at the moment...... they have no other tank mates yet...
