I found an interesting article suggesting in nature they have found in areas where gups live without much predation from other fish, guppies will also feed at night as well as during the daytime. In the night feeding individuals the size and the weight of fish, and breeding was much greater than in the predated fish. Something you might want to consider if feeding to a strict time or seriousley breeding.
