Hi, Not a guppy but I thought my Black widow tetras deserve a mention... they are in my discus tank and are getting quite obese... I have 5 and the biggest one is about 5cm long and 2cm high...and fat as.... I think this is a photo of the second biggest one about 4cm... couldnt get a good shot of the biggest.. hope you like...

Nice, its actually amazing how big tetras will get (if you can keep them alive more than a few weeks) my best was a 5.5cm neon that was a few years old. Good effort, they look nice and healthy.

I orginally got them to cycle my tank before discus entry and lost 2 out of 7 to columnaris... the mouth eating kind...lost one cardinal to that too....but I managed to cure the outbreak... the guy at my LFS said to get rid of them as they would be a disease threat to the discus... but I didnt think that was fair... He wanted me to cull them all because 2 had columnaris... since I cured them (pimafix) I have not lost another and had them for 10months so far... they were very small when I got them so I love seeing how big they have grown....

sounds like it was just the water quality. good thing you didnt listen to the lps guy.
