First of all let me say I take shocking photos!!! So if the images look out of focus do not adjust your monitor!!! ;D My neonbluetuxedo strain: the above photo was 2 generations ago. Now my females have full blue tails and blue dorsal fins as well. and the greensnakeskin strain: Cheers, Serkan

Your fish are very nice.... Where abouts are you based.... if thats not too personal....

Lovely green snakeskins, Neon Blues. Are you working on getting rid of the 'eyespots' on the cobras or just leaving them? . Unusual to see as most breeders try to get rid of them. A few seem to be coming back in fashion with the label 'p-e-a-c-o-c-k' (darn word censor) on top of the regular breed name.

I got two lines of this greensnakeskin strain from my original breeders 4 generations ago
*one with double sword and very fine tail markings with no obvious dark spots; ie. spots are a no no on the body or tail
*the other as per photo where I am trying to keep a pair of symetric black marks on the tail ala "mickey mouse platy" with snake skin overtones. Once the tail markings are stable (it is almost) I am going to reasses the body marking. I might split the strain again to work on a line with no "p-e-a-c-o-c-k" spot and one with.
I like the blues and initially started working with them to have some nice fish for my pond in the summer months. The dorsal neon blue marking is amazing under the sun in a pond situation.
