Hit the local fishshops this morning but did not find the exact fish I was looking for. Came across some females that I liked.....not sure of the correct type??? The girl on the left is a huge old fish....much bigger than the other one. I'll see if I can get a better size-up pic in the morning. I'll place them in their own tank in the morning.

some nice females there, most are half blacks, the red tail usually produces nice red tailed males with yellow bodies (not sure of the strain). a trick is to keep and grow the first lot of fry they drop and hope they have been kept with the same strain. In a new shipment of fish from the LPS buy some ready to drop females. These will usually drop purebred fry as they are bought from suppliers who keep them in single strain tanks.

Thanks guys. The big old girl has since died and the girl at the top of the bottom pic had 16 fry this morning. The fry are now in their own tank which I'll add more to later on. Can't wait to see how they turn out. I'm running the green double sword with the females, so hopefully some delta tail fry soon Jeez I love guppy's. ;D ;D
