Terrific. What I would'nt give for that big 60 gal tank. Are your bumblebee goby's and blue rams in there. I want to start species tanks for both but have never kept either before.

yes, all the rams, gobies, hoplo's, swords, mollies, Odessa barbs, and assorted catfish and gups are in the big tank. I keep it well planted with amazom sword, banana lilly and water sprite so all the fish and their fry have lots of places to hide, even with a lot of voracious fry-eaters like the gobies, odessa, swords and betta around 60-80% of guppy fry still manage to survive. The ph is also kept at 7.0 or less in that tank from all the driftwood and plants, doesnt seem to affect the gups at all.
If you are thinking of keeping gobies, they are a very agressive small fish that can be quite territorial and very very nippy. if you are lucky you may get one that eats flake but they will usually only eat frozen bloodworm or live food. They need around 1tbs sea-salt per 5 gal, but I have never had any trouble keeping and even breeding them without it. just think of them as a tiny very fussy cave dwelling cichlid ;D

Thanks for the info bumblebee. I went back to a fs last week to pick up 6 goby's out of the 15 they had the day before and they had sold all but one. I hope they get some more in soon. I gotta learn to put them on hold.
