hi every one its been a while, i think july was the last i visited this site and we were still cycling our tanks then. sadly we lost all bar one of the guppies we originally bought. but on an extremely happy and healthy note two of the females gave birth (one of them twice) before they died. we now have two large tanks and a smaller tank with probably around a hundred guppies varying from a few days old to i think full grown. i stopped using the breeding tanks because we found that the babies were not being eaten or harmed in any way, so we just let them go. but now i have removed the males because of the population explosion. they aren't the only babies either the two mystery snails we had decided to get busy too and what i refer to as the female/ baby tank now has as many baby mysteries as guppies. its all very exciting and i'll leave it there for hopefully i'll pop in later and tell you more.

congratulations, once you get over that first 'bump' of setting up then they never seem to stop. always seems to happen with the store bought fish though. the origional ones die and any offspring they left thrive.
