if your like me then you have a 'timetable' for your guppies and tank maintance. you change water once a week feed flake on mon wed fri sun and maybe blood worms on tuesday. You get the picture ;D well what im trying to get to is
continue your timetable. at first its fun , to change the water feed and check ph etc but after a while it all seems 'the same' [glow=red,2,300]NEVER SAY LATER[/glow] When its time to do something , do it. because you set that time asside for the tank. when sunday comes to do your water change you say to yourself 'maybe tommorow' then you end up never doing it and then you slack of with your water test. feeding etc. soon your guppies have health problems etc. i think i made myself clear:
[glow=Green,2,300]Take care of your tank like a religion[/glow]

It is probably one of the most annoying thing about fishkeeping. the chore of waterchanging. unless you have an automatic water changing system then it is also almost impossible to get around. I must admit though. sometimes I will cheat and do a few small changes rather than the big one needed . Good thing about planted tanks is they are much more forgiving. although you need to go in with a brush-cutter if you leave it too long

My guppies enjoy a weekly water change.... and the tank that has baby gibbeys in it gets an extra change ie. 3 w/c per fortnight... I am lucky as my man does alot of the changes...
