An easy to care for floating fern, sometimes sold in Australia as 'lace fern'. It looks very similar to water wysteria but has finer leaf structure and the very long leaves emerge from a central crown near the roots, near which new fronds emerge. Wysteria looks more like a straight stem plant from which leaves branch off like any normal plant. About the only requirement for this plant is light, if you only have a single bulb in your tank then grow it floating. if you have more light then it may be planted in substrate. new ferns grow as leaves age, these will fall off and float to surface as old leaves rot and can be grown as normal. This fern is very prolific.
