I have never had any problems with corys, khulis or bristlnose....i have one or more of these in several tanks. They all seem to go about their lives separately, the gups keep to themselves ( apart from eating the sinking food for the bottom feeders), and the bottom feeders take no notice of the gups or their fry. Good all round.

I know BB has Hoplo cats in with fry but those things are monsters I think they are about 16-20 cm. Bossy at feeding time and bully big fish but dont touch gups or their little fry. good for a big tank.
