Bumblebee mentioned the cheap glass thermometers......I have an expensive one...hope its not the same kind. I dont like it as I cant see it to read it the numbers are miniscule. What do you think of the the stick on thermometers?

I mentioned the cheap and nasty ones from K-mart that are around $1.95
they are several degrees out, look cheap and nasty and break easity. the numbers are fairly big so If yours are small I doubt it is the same brand. Usually ones in the $6 plus pricing are ok. I have used stick on ones for a few years and they are fine, just put them somewhere unobtrusive as you dont have the convenience of moving them after. If you try to unstick them they just curl and break.

I have a stick on on the smaller 2ftr's but on the 4ftr i bought a digital one from thingy Smith (i think it was $15) and is about +-.5 of a degree. It also has quite a large format display to make it easy to read.

LOL, 'thingy' smith sure is a good place to get the digital ones. Usually around $20+ cheaper than the lps.
