I have in front of my a list of guppy types from an importer, due in about 2 weeks. I am seeing many types that I'd love to have, but looking at the cost and the fact that they come by the pair and not trios, I'm really thinking that I should make some sort of compromise on what I would absolutely love to have and what would be a more sensible choice given I'm a bit of a newbie to this level of guppy. I figure that, like bettas, some lines/strains/colours/tail types might be generally regarded as a bit more fragile than others, so I was hoping I could get some info on what's what I have my eye on a RREA super white pair and a RREA full platinum, but after a quick squiz around the net, these seem a little delicate. Most of what is on offer is RREA, and I'm curious if that automatically cranks the difficulty up a notch. As someone returning to guppies and trying show strains for the first time, what types/traits should I be looking to avoid to reduce difficulty?
