i have a 120+ltr tank(i only fill up 100). i seperated it into 3 sections. 1 for males 1 for females the other for breeding. i have a smaller 8 ltr plastic tank which i keep my fry in. im planning on getting one of these betta tanks that divide into 4 so i can have 2 for my fry.(i will put the fry that the female im breeding gives into this so i dont mix the frys up.)and the other two for my females to give birth in. is the ok?

From what I have read, dont cramp your fry into a small place for a long period of time. They need space to grow. Personally when breeding gups I like to keep it as natural as possible. I dont like breeding boxes, I think this stresses some females. What I do is have plenty of floating plants in the aquarium say coverage of 60% of the top. The fry will move toward the light and when you see them, scoop them out and put them in their own tank, with filter and heater I dont know what Betta tanks you are talking about but from the ones Ive seen here in Melbourne, they are too small. This is my personal opinion only. Maybe some of the Guppy experts on here can help you more. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
