Again, great articles, A little easier to understand than a lot out there. Thanks for the links. Cyberguppy and Bumblebee, You are welcome =P Thats is waht this Board about isnt it. And i truly looking forward of our Guppy Club or Society coming up soon. Perhaps in near future we could even hold our own standard of guppy show interstate once awhile to share or exchange experiences and knowledge. And we could even set up our very own very OZ standard through learning from others. (still someway to go, but is exciting isn't it ? =P ) I am currenlty experimenting with Micariff Sunset and a solid red strain i think its call albino red. Cheers =p

definitely something to look forward to. It would be interesting to see what kind of 'standards' we would have as most Aus Guppy breeders are heavily into experimenting with their breeds, also interesting to get swap-meets going to get some of the more unusual strains out of the woodwork.

Agree with you Bumblebee, as most breed in oz are semi fancy guppy. This mean that they are either fail experiment or cull from their selective breeding program. Most them are not even an establish strain or pure breed yet ( still in their Hybrid stage ) That is why Guppy Club or Society come into play. As for swap & meet.... this is also important. When doing swaping, this mean that ur establish strain will still be carry on by others if anythings goes wrong one or two fellow still have ur original strain going. (Touch Wood) This is a practice most guppy breeder or member do.
