I contacted Frank(Guppyman) to see if he exports his fish. It was that site that has gotten me hooked into breeding and so when I eventually get some really good stock I will start. Unfortunately he doesnt export his fish...sighs. However he did refer me to a guy in Hawaii who does. So i am waiting on him contacting me to see about getting some fish in. I am a little concerned about customs and quarintine laws though. Anyone had any experience in buying fish from o/s? All i really want are some gorgeous ones to start with but I have yet to find a site here in Aus that sells anything that I can see that are in anyway near what Guppyman sells. They really are magnificent. He said he had been breeding for 40 years. His set up had 600 tanks till last year when he had a heart attack and now he had cut it down to 300. He was now, he said, moving away from guppies and concentrating on Cory's because, in his opinion, they were more challenging to breed. All i know is the man is a genious breeding some of those exquisite colors. If you see his site most of them are what he created through his breeding programme over the years. Amazing. Am i jealous.... you betcha!

They are very inspiring fish, I think incredible for both form and colour. too often you see nice coloured fish that are out of proportion or have uneven tails.
There is one importer in Aus (slipperylittlesuckers.com) that has both quarentine facilities to import and will then ship to any part of Aus. They sometimes stock imported show strains so it might be worth contacting them.
