Hi Everyone, I have just joined in the hope of meeting someone in the Brissie area that may have an interest in Endlers Livebearers.
I bred them for a long time and then took a break for a while but now old contacts I had are looking for more Endlers so I hope to start up again but need help.
I have 4 males that I kept from when i was breeding before but only have 1 female left -- can anyone who may have some females that they can spare (for a price) please contact me ASAP.
I would also like to compare notes on care and breeding if anyone is willing to help.
Regards, Aussiegal

Hi, welcome to the forum, I am not from Brisbane but if you really want Endlers then www.slipperylittlesuckers.com/ had some recently and will usually ship to an LPS near you. Also try asking every LPS in your area what they have on their order sheets each month, it took me 3 months but I finally got some that way, they are an irregularly stocked fish that turns up every few months or so. You need to ask for them as most LPS dont know what they are and wont get them unless asked. Hope that helps you track some down. I am also an endler fanatic, with purebreds, california tigers and a tank full of guppy X Experements.

Hi again Buumblebee,
I finally got onto SLS in Sydney and they were a great help. They do have some females at the moment but you have to buy in trio. That would be fine but to pay $15.00 per fish and $60 in postage & handling is a bit more than I can handle at the moment. I will try and advertise somehow and see if anyone else is interested in splitting the freight costs with me. Do you have any more suggestions or have you heard of anyone selling the in Brisbane or surrounding area. My boys are getting very lonely ! Regards, Aussiegal

No sorry, I dont have any extra info besides the constant checking of LPS stock-lists to get some cheaper fish. there is a more established australian fish forum here : www.ausfishforum.com/forum/maybe asking for some in their classifieds will help, lots of helpful people there.

I cant seem to get this site up ? Oh ! And thank you for your welcome. Yes to your Question . All my Guppies live out side. Survive or die. I have a strong strain of mixed Guppies that the shops LOVE. They dont need heaters. Very easy to sell. When I sort out my Pics, I will post some up.

Oh.... maybe just type in the address of the www.aquaworldaquarium.com and see if that comes up and then you can go to the article on endlers from there...? I am not very good with computer stuff and am not sure what I did wrong when I put the link up.... If you put Endler in your search engine ie. msn or google...you should get a couple of sites to look at too.. HTH Cant wait to see your pics....feel free to impart some of your knowledge too we would much appreciate it...!

Endlers are basicly a small livebearer very very closley related to guppies. So close they can cross and produce fertile offspring. main difference is size (endlers are only a few cm) the metallic colouration of the endler, usually with black for a dramatic effect and fin structure. They were only discovered by professer endler in the 80's so are a very very new import to the aquarium trade, only in the last 2 years available in Aus. Amazing little fish if you can get hold of them.
P.s welcome to the forum!
