Hi all, I have 2 questions... not related to guppies directly. 1. Are Endlers related to guppies and can you buy them in Australia? Ive never heard of them until tonight. They are so pretty! 2. Can anyone tell me where to buy a UV black light for my aquarium hood light. I have found LPS to have the complete hood with the UV black light but no one seems to sell the replacement fluro tube. Thanks Proud mum of 6 new fry......6 adult guppies, 2 snails, 2 golden loach, 2 google eyes goldfish and 1 bristlenose catfish. (his partner died)

yes, endlers are available in australia and they are also very very closley related to guppys (so close in fact they readily cross and produce fertile offspring) they are usually half the size and have very bright metallic markings, a short double sword tail and a black 'jellybean' shaped mark on the side near the pectoral fins. A lot of people say they turn up frequently in both melbourne and sydney, usually an LPS will order them in if you ask especially.
I cant really help you with the blacklight but if you want something to show up very very bright colouration then try to get a 'coral' light if you have no luck with the blacklight.
