As you all know hubby works in the aquarium industry....hmmmmmmmm He brings home orphan fish...example guppies found in with the goldfish and survived... Newest aquisition.... wait for it......... Bloomi'n Puffer Fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! x2 ( size of my index finger) Personally I think they are toad fish.sooooooooooooooooooooooo my marine/ brackish not sure which, just follwed the directions from a breeder at hubbys work... tank I had set up....which is in my dining room at the front of the house has been taken over!!! These little darlings eat crustations, small fish, worms, snails....... You should see the teeth on them....I aint sticking my hand in that tank...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I name fish (well some) as they in the front of the house and have teeth, Ive named them my 2 front teeth. They seem quite at home...........BUT hubby brought feeder fish for them, dropped 3 in the tank....... guess what...the feeders are swimming around quite happy and have been for 2 days.... The 2 front teeth take no notice of them......I have 25 of them!!!!!!!!!!! I told him last night if he brings anymore fish home in the next 3 months Im going to feed him to the teeth, piece by piece! ALIVE LOL Now does anyone have any info on these teeth.... can any other fish go with them? ?? I am praying you say chiclids (Bigish ones) as a guy at his work is bringing in 2 adult electric yellows ( already organised) Bangs head on desk!!!

puffers are quite weird, one minute nice, the next you have a tank full of fish bits. cannot help much farther though. possibly someone at ausfishforums.com can help? hope you have no trouble. they are pests but very interesting ones!

Sassy, Here are some links re: brackish water fish.... (are you going to keep them brackish or are they being kept in Freshwater?) Anyway these links should help... seems to be lots of info on puffers..... HTH www.wetwebmedia.com/BrackishSubWebIndex/BrackishSubWebIndex.htmwww.aquaria.info/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewforum&f=9this second one is a forum devoted to brackish water aquariums...I think you will find that puffers are fairly aggressive but will live with other brackish fish like Scats, Monos, and some other weird type fish.... I have a scat, they are great but grow pretty big mines about 20cm so far.. they do take a while to grow that big...about 6 or 7 years its taken mine....
