i have a 2 month old guppy with no color but the other fry that came from that mother have black on there tail already. i can tell its a boy because of the size and doesn't have the black spot . I don't think it albino because it doesn't have red eyes is this normal also there Fancy tail guppies.

Fairly normal, some will not get colour for a few months or untill after they are mature.
welcome to the forum BTW.

Welcome to the forum.... and I agree with bumblebee, some take longer than others to colour.... sometimes its worth the wait! :-)

thats for the info but wouldn't my guppy fry at least have some color it actually might be an albino because i was checking out picture and web sites yesterday and heard that some albinos have ruby colored eye and the picture looks just like my baby. still you never know it could have color but the readon why i thought it might have the color already is because all the fry i have start off wirh a black. another thing is that the baby guppy isn't really small and you still can see through its body if i was a normal guppy baby wouldn't i not be able to see through his or her body

I recently had a male guppy that was totally colourless, body and tail, then one day it got a little black spot on its side which slowly became a larger black dot and then its tail started getting a little bit of a sword on the bottom which became pink, the rest of the tail is still clear, but as he got older he developed some rainbow colours on his body.. he is actually a throwback to the wild guppies and is quite colourful now but it took at least 3 months before any colouration at all happened... so maybe just hang back and wait a little longer and see what happens... it will be interesting to find out if he is an albino or a "late bloomer". LOL
