The minimum sized tank for a guppy to reach his/her full size is approx 30lt (10 gal) For serious breeding two tanks will need to be set up, One for males, one for females. These tanks should be equipped with a good filtration system. A lot of breeders prefer to leave these tanks with a bare glass bottom to allow for very easy cleaning because of the large amount of food (and resulting waste) that is required of growing fish.
