great ideas, I think the reason cyber has not got a .com at the moment is because of the cost involved in domain registration and then you would also need a place to host the site which can also cost big $ which would come out of their pocket essentially, until money could come from a club or even LPS (for advertisment on the site). Even if a .com was purchased, this forum would remain the same, as a free site for anyone to use and gain information they need. Instead of getting another forum + setting up again this site would just have a link from the main page but being linked to a .com it would be much easier for everyone to find.
ATM I think anyone willing to help/ find information/advertise or put in any other input they could manage would be counted as an instant 'honorary member'. The most important thing to happen at the moment is getting interested people together, along with LPS and fish breeders that also have the same interest. When we have enough people together you can then form a proper club and begin to organise events, swap-meets in your area and so on.

If we can get enough people together It might be worth starting something, or at least dedicate some more time to this place to keep people informed of the breeds available, care and other info. Now just to get together some proper guppy breeders who have something other than small scale breeding programmes, and some people dedicated to producing 'show quality' fish in australia. Count me in, i din noe u guys exist till i found this forum today. Keep this thread going

It takes enthusiasts of every level to get something going though, even if its the kid who just got his/her first fish and keeps it in a pickle jar ;D
BTW welcome to the forum Softice.
Will start a 'Aus Guppy club' member list for anyone who is in.
