Sorry!! for the delay... I dont get on here much anymore due to very busy lifestyle with young tot and going to uni this year so very busy normally.... I have to be honest and say that this forum doesnt seem to be very active. I try to keep up a little but it is hard being the only one of the mods that seems to visit anymore...
Yes, I think it can but I have never used it myself.. I have used a product called ichaid which worked well, but you have to be careful if you have catfish or loaches in your tanks as they can be very sensitive to meds. I had to use half dose. Everybody survived, no losses.
I think whitespot cant survive in higher temps so if you can increase your temp in your tank slowly by a couple of degrees that can help to stopping it from multiplying... also another natural solution can be cooking or rock salt (not table) at a rate of 1 teaspoon per 40 litres. (again be careful if you have catties or loaches)
It is probably way too late but hopefully info that you could use in the future.
