looks a little like an internal bacterial infection that has 'broken out' The fish looks a little too fat and its scales are also sticking out along with the redness on the gut so I would go with 'bacterial dropsy'. Which can be very common in fish fed with cheaper bloodworms (most notably orca brand) and frozen brineshrimp and kept at temps above 28c. If you are using live or frozen fresh foods, stop for a little while and just go with flake for a week or two fed once a day, also check temp. This disease usually goes hand in hand with saddleback columnaris and is usually an 'early warning' to an outbreak. a good gravel vacume and water chnge will probably also help keep it in check.

wow, thats nasty, does look like a kind of dropsy/bacterial infection though. P.S how old is your tank? I had an outbreak of something similar up untill my largest tank was 3 months old. and then something similar in a 10 gal untill it was the same age . cutting down on feeds and feeding flake did cut down on deaths though.
