Hello everyone
Im so so sorry I have not been around, recently has been a time of hell!!!
My Dad who is in NZ had a fall, hes 83, he was taken to hospital ( In new Zealand) They didnt know if he tripped or had a heart attack, anyway he was about to come home and had another attack where they had to revive him. My husband and I flew over there straight away. It was hard to see a virile and energentic man reduced to me putting on his socks and undies. He was also on oxygen 24/7. His wife (not my mum) was an utter cow to us and him. Boy she brought to life the wicked step mother syndrome!...She decided she didnt want him home!!!! Too hard. Anyway to cut a very long story short I had to leave him on Sunday morning and say goodbye knowing it was the last time I wouldever see him. I did the 10 hour drive back to the airport had a rest at my brothers for the night then a 4 hour flight back here... got home went to bed and was called at 5am ( yesterday morning) by my brother saying Dad had died. Apparently he didnt want to go to bed (he was now at home as there were no nursing homes available) his wife was tired so she went to bed and got up at 1.30am or so and found him dead laying by his chair
I know its a blessing he has gone, but its still hard Im not in the mood for anything at the moment
At least we came home to no dead fish...my 16 yr old was looking after them.... overfeed by a mile but thats easy fixed.
Oh get this...I called work and said my Dad had just died....and they had the nerve to call back later in the day and ask if I was working today!!!! Its been a roller coaster of emotional hell
So thats why I havent been here...
I did miss you all
